Membership Fees remain unchanged at;

For new members who want a trial session the cost is £5.

This is the easiest method for the club however you can pay with cash or card but this is more time consuming especially on the first night back so if you are paying at the club can you please do so once the juniors have started playing as this will be a quieter time.

Junior Club 6:30pm to 7:30pm

Between 6:30-7:00pm we will organise casual games with advice and training provided by experienced players.
Between 7:00-7:30pm there will be paired games providing experience of tournament style play.

This season Trish Freeman has kindly volunteered and will be taking control of registration and pairings for the juniors.

The Café Area is usually available for parents to wait in or if being used, parents are more than welcome to sit in the playing room.

Senior Club 7:45pm to 10:00pm
For adults and older/experienced juniors; please arrive between 7:30pm and 7:45pm as we will be following last year’s schedule of a 4 round tournament each night with a time control of 10+5

These games are English Chess Federation rated so if you are attending the senior club please ensure that your ECF Membership is up to date.

The Large Meeting Room 1 is available from 6:15pm to 10:00pm
Meeting Room 3 will be used for team matches against other clubs
